Legal Vocational Course – (Three Months)

A Student is expected to pass a minimum of three subjects comprising of two compulsory and one optional subject, however additional options can be availed if so desired.  

  • Advocacy Skill & Court Visit  (compulsory)

Students will be trained to argue interim application, record evidence, cross examine witness and argue final arguments, argue appeals and writ petitions in real court room scenario. Additional Students will be expected to visit courts twice during the course and submit a court visit report.

  • Drafting & Legal Research (compulsory)

Students will be trained to Draft Pleading of their case, including interim application, written arguments, as well as learn to draft agreements, Deeds, Legal Notices, Reply to Legal Notices and Legal Opinions at the same time they will be expected to do Legal research to support their contentions at the time of arguing the applications in Advocacy Class.

  • Taxation Issues (optional)

Students will be trained to prepare and file Income Tax and Sales Tax Returns, they will learn to prepare necessary documentation required for Taxation purpose and will also learn selections sections of Income Tax and Sales Tax Law.

  • Company Secretarial Course (optional)

Students will be trained to incorporate/ form a Company, learn to procedure to hold meetings, understand the method to issue notices, record minutes of meetings, understand change of directors procedures, learn SECP requirements for private and public limited companies and will also learn basic corporate laws.

  • Criminal Law Course (optional)

Students will be trained to draft and argue, pre-arrest bail applications, post-arrest bail applications, acquittal applications before district courts and before High Courts, cross examine witness and make final submissions in criminal case. They will also be taught selective sections of Criminal Procedure Code and Pakistan Penal Code

  • Family Law Course (optional)

Students will be trained to draft and argue, Child Custody Application, Child Visitation Rights Application, Khula and Divorce Applications and Agreements, Maintenance applications and Agreements, Succession Certificates and Letter of Administration. Students will also be taught selective Family Laws and Cases.
