MEDICAL CLINICAL ATTACHMENT & DENTAL OBSERVER POST VISA REQUIREMENTS

Must be a graduate from a medical or dental school;

• Must intend to undertake a clinical attachment or dental observation post in the UK ;
• Can provide documentary evidence of the clinical attachment or dental observation post,
• Must intend to leave the UK when their permission to stay expires, unless they have been given permission to stay as:
  • a postgraduate doctor or trainee general practitioner ; or
  • a work permit holder .

MEDICAL CLINICAL ATTACHMENT VISA ENTITLEMENTS & DENTAL OBSERVER POST VISA

Applicants who are granted residence under this category of visa are allowed to enter in the UK for a maximum of six (6) months. These clinical attachments and dental observation posts are unpaid and involve observation only and not treatment of patients.

At the end of the six (6) month period, applicants will be expected to leave the UK unless they are granted leave to remain as:

• a postgraduate doctor or dentist; or
• a work permit holder for employment as a doctor or dentist
